Brendan Walker
After studying Art & Design in Burnley College, I took some time off to work on Kibbutz and travel around the Middle East. I returned to study Photography in the West Midland splitting my time between studying and working as an assistant for leading Advertising Photographers. When I moved to London I worked freelance and then became Max Forsythe's assistant, working on many Advertising Campaigns, including shooting stills on a Cheltenham & Gloucester commercial in the Artic Circle. I continue to collaborate on projects with Keith Bernstein and other colleagues.
During the Covid Pandemic I decided to finish my Degree and completed it at Falmouth University in 2022. I will be starting on my MA with Falmouth University in 2024.
Some of the productions I’ve been involved with: BBC productions "Puppy Love", Tremendous Productions "Sunset Dreams" , NBC's production of "The Royals" , “Have We Met Before” , “Dracula”, “The Three Sisters”, “The White Rose” and “Shooting with Light” for theatrical photography for Arrows & Traps Productions, Saatchi & Saatchi’s Commercial “Out to Lunch”. I recently shot stills for the production of ‘Casting Kill’ which is now on release and ‘Best Geezer’ which is in post production now, due for release July 23. I continue to work on personal projects and develop my practice through my studies and photographic exploration.
